I just recently started searching my family tree and discovered that Elisha Walling, Sr. is my 7th great-grandfather and his son Elisha Walling, Jr. was referred to as Elisha 'the Longhunter'. I would like to find out more about this branch of the tree, if anyone could help that would be great.
