WALLE -- HAYKE
A very pretty wedding took place Monday morning at 8 o'clock in St. Mary's Church when Miss Clara Hayke became the bride of Paul Walle. The Rev. John Gatzke officiated. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Martha Hayke. The groom was attended by Joseph Nowicki.
The bride wore a gown of grey crepe dechine and a veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Her bridesmaid wore white embroidery batiste and carried pink carnations.
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hayke on Avery Street. Both young people are well known in the city. The groom is a member of the firm of Joseph Walle & Son, meat market proprietors. Mr. and Mrs. Walle left on the morning train for a wedding trip to Flint and Detroit.
