Jonas Larson, whose family is shown below, was known in his home parish of Alfta, Sweden, as Jonas Larsson WALLBERG. When they came to America in 1869, they dropped the WALLBERG surname and shortened LARSSON to LARSON. I would like to contact descendants of this family:

Jonas Larson, b. 1836 in Alfta, Helsingland (Gavleborg), Sweden. With wife, Brita PEHRSDOTTER, he had these children:

Per (Peter W. LARSON), b. 1857 in Sweden
Anna, b. 1860 in Sweden
Brita (Bertie), b. 1861 in Sweden
Jonas, b. 1864 in Sweden
Sara (Sarah), b. 1866 in Sweden
Cora C. LARSON, b. about 1872 in Kansas

With his second wife, Christiana ERICKSON, these children were born:

Joseph, b. about 1897
Mary, died in infancy

Censuses show the family living in Grant, Republic, Kansas and Arcade, Phillips, Kansas. However, there is some indication they were connected to Belleville and Wayne, both also in Republic County, Kansas, as well. Jonas Larson had a brother, Peter (Larson) Kraft, who lived in Wayne, KS

Jonas was my great-grandmother's first cousin, and I have extensive ancestry for this family in Sweden.
