There must be some connection to my family....My ancestor was Thomas Wallace 1730-1778 who was also from Tobermore, CountyDerry, Northern Ireland, but he came to Pennsylvania around 1769.His parents were John Wallace d. 1781 and his 1st wife, Elizabeth, of Tobermore.John then married #2 Mary.
Thomas had brothers: John, Charles, Robert and sisters Elizabeth and Liquise Wallace.Robert stayed in Tobermore where the family owned a farm and store, and had at least one son, Robert.Charles had at least two sons: John and Charles who were planning on coming to America spring of 1784.
Thomas Wallace 1730-1778 had sons John 1755-1825 and Charles 1760-1842 and daughter, Mary,to his first wife, Mary St. Clair, daughter Sarah 1771-1871 to his 2nd wife, Ann Black, and son, Thomas 1777-1806, to 3rd wife, Jane Bell.
It is very confusing with everyone having the same names....but there must be some connection.Any ideas??
Troy
