Wallace Family Bible 1900 (Part 1 of 2)
I have come across a very old (1844) bible which we were planning to sell, but became intrigued by the family history found within, including the normal genealogical information and a few scraps.Here is the information found inside the cover.There is some more in the middle of the book, and I’ll type that up, as well as the scrap clippings when I get more time.
Origin appears to be England.

This Bible belonged to my Grand Mother, JANE WALLACE and I got it from my Grand Father, JAMES WALLACE (died October 1900) when I went to ?Dalineng? to attend the funeral of my Grand Mother.
February 4th, 1892, in the middle part of this bible are the names of grandmother’s children with dates of their births, on the opposite page to this one are the names of my Wife, children and myself, JAMES WALLACE, grand son of the above JAMES WALLACE.

JAMES WALLACE, grandson, died 20th May 1922 and was buried in ?Slueatham? Cemetery.
SARAH WALLACE, wife of the above names, dies 31st January 1947, at 60 Ballards Way, Craydon, ?Surrey?, the home of her son DERWENT; was cremated at ?Slueatham? Park Cemetery on 5th February and her ashes scattered in the Garden of ?Remem? ?france? there.

WILLIAM WAYMENT [WALLACE], son of the above James and Sarah Wallace, born March 25th, 1893.
The above ELSIE WALLACE died August 3rd, 1893, aged 1 year 10 months.
JAMES WALLACE, son of the above James and Sarah Wallace, born August 28th, 1894.
NORA GRETA [WALLACE], daughter of the above James and Sarah Wallace, born June 26th, 1896.
DERWENT [WALLACE], son of the above James and Sarah Wallace, born October 2nd, 1899.

MARGRATE ALESCANDRA [WALLACE], born February 17th, 1901.
RALPH THOMAS WALLACE and ELSIE MABEL ?WAILI? married at St. Andrew’s Church, South ?Slueatham?, December 11th, 1926.

The above MARGRATE ALEXANDRA [WALLACE] was accidentally knocked down and killed by a motor car in September ?1960? whilst slaying with her cousin EMILY CHAPMAN at Great Blakenham, ?Suffoek?.
NORAH [NORA] WALLACE dies at Adelaide, South ?Australia? , 20 March, 1963.
WILLIAM WALLACE died at ?Sluetham?, March 18th, 1964

In Loving Memory of ROBERT, The beloved husband of MARGARET STOCKTON.
Who departed this life February 28th, 1917, in his 59th year [born 1857-58].
And was interred at Preston [Lancashire, UK] Cemetery on March 3rd.
