Betty and Eleanor: Here is the "mother-lode" of information on the Wallaces from Chanceford County, Pa. to Mecklenburg Co., N.C.. Search for "Gayle's Six Wallace Brothers." That is a site that will show information from the book that was written by Wm. W. Barton and Jean W. Gayle entitled "Six Wallace Brothers and Their Descendants from Chanceford County, Pennsylvania." They migrated to North Carolina, Georgia and Ohio and other places. I think you may find an ancestor there. I did. Mine is Joseph Wallace who married Margery Phair.
