John, William, and their presumed sister, Nancy (m. John Covington) were children of John Wall, Jr., of Brunswick Co., Va.The "Jr." is to distinguish him from his father Maj./Col. John Wall, also of Brunswick.
John Wall Jr. is thought to have married Ann Poythress, who I theorize was the daughter of Joshua Poythress.
About the time of the death of John, Jr.'s father (Col. John) ca. 1756, he and his wife, who was definitely named Ann (if not Poythress), simply disappear from the Brunswick Records.
JOHN WALL, Jr., HAS BEEN FOUND!!He appears almost simultaneously with his disappearance from the Brunswick records in those of Craven County, SC (just below where the family finally ended up, and on the Pee Dee River).John, Jr., was briefly made a Colonel of the militia in Craven County, and you will find him listed as a JP in several records. He apparently died ca. 1764-66.
I am a descendant of the presumed daughter, Nancy. In one SC record, John Wall, Jr., claims to have three children, but in another, he claims five.
