Lucille Wall Sparkman Lindsey 1920 - 2011

Mrs Lucille W. Sparkman Lindsey, age 90 went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland. Lucille was born on July 4, 1920 in Snyder, Texas, to James G. Wall and Hattie Ball Wall. She was a member of Trenton Church of Christ.
She attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and graduated in 1947 with a degree in Home Economics. She went on and received he Master Degree from the University of Florida. She taught school for 35 plus years in the Crystal River School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Grover and Hattie Ball Wall; her first husband Thomas Ray Sparkman; her second husband, Robert E. "Bob" Lindsey; two sisters Rosa Lee Wall and Florene Wall and two brothers, Wayne and Arvel Wall.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Sparkman (Steve)Leavell of Dover, Arkansas; a son, Thomas Ray Sparkman,Jr. of Trenton; a stepdaughter Barbara (Chuck) Chewning of Cross City; a brother, Tommy (Carrie) Wall of Amory, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law, Freida Davis of Dallas, Texas and Barbara Wall of Russellville,Arkansas; six grandchildren, Adam Leavell, Ben (Sara) Leavell, Rachel Leavell of Dover,Arkansas, Kyle Sparkman, Kylie Sparkman and Aaron Anderson, all of Cross City; two great grandchildren, Jackson Leavell of Dover, Arkansas and Talvin Leavell of Pocahontas, Arkansasal She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25,2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Trenton Church of Christ with Mr. Kent Heaton officiating. Interment will be at Crystal River Cemetery.
