Hello Billie,
Thanks you so much for the reply.I have been studying the Wall family from Milledgeville for several years. My interest has been the Cone connection to the Wall family.
I have been to Memory Hill on numerous occasions.I had a stone cut and placed on the grave of Eugina Clara Cone Wall (wife of Louis Wall)last year.
I am also related to the Fowler family from Milledgeville.
Miles Fowler married Lucy Ann Cone(sister to Eugina Clara). Two of their daughters (1st wife)Alma Eugina, and (2nd wife) Ophelia married Robert Wall. Do you know how Robert wall is connected to Louis Wall)
I understand that Louis Wall was wounded in the civil war.
Do you know the extent of the injury? I believe it was his leg.
I believe Eugina died in July of 1881 as a result of giving birth to a daughter (Eugina A. Wall) The bady also died three months later (Cholera/infantum).Do you know any details.
I understand Louis Wall was from Columbus Georgia. How did they end up in Milledgeville?
I have a list of the children of Louis and Eugina.I would love to see what you have on this to compare notes.
I have a photo of Eugina if you are interested.
You can contact me email: [email protected].
P.S. Eugina Cone had a brother named William Augustus Cone. He is my Great great grandfather. He is buried in Jewel, GeorgiaThat is my connection.
Thanks again for the reply.
