Anyone interested in the saving of Samuel Walkup's grave in Madison county, Kentucky, please contact me. He is buried on a farm north of Berea and the city just recently purchased the land and will be building on it. They told me that they wouldn't build on top of it but I plan on sending documentation to prove his revolutionary war activity etc. to ensure it. I will be sending copies to DAR, congressmen, newspapers etc. SusanDFenn@comcast.net...He is the son of James Alexander Walkup and Margaret Pickens of NC....Samuel was born 1758 and died in 1851.
