Owen Walkingstick - Mayes, Sellars, Tittle

Does anyone know of an Owen Walkingstick and/or any relationship between the Walkingstick family and the above surnames?

My grandmother's family was supposed to have lived with a Walkingstick family on the the Cherokee reservation in NC when she was a child. She was born in 1907 in Ashville NC. I have a photo labeled "Owen Walkingstick and family".

My grandmother was Bertha Mayes. Her mother was Cordia (Cordie) Sellars Mayes b. 1880, and her father was Thomas Mayes b. 1878 (listed as Maye in 1900 census). Cordia's parents were Reubin and Martha Tittle Sellars b. 1849 and 1857 respectively both in Jefferson Co TN. I am unsure of Reubin's parents, but believe them to be Joseph and Mary Jane Thomas Sellars. Martha's mother was Lucinda/Lavinia Tittle b. 1841, daughter of George and Nancy Tittle. Martha's father is unknown. I also have no other info on Thomas Mayes.

Any info relating to any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
