"Oct 5th 1797
#3 - Silvanus Walker:That about 18 years past, he lost 2 negroes; one lad about 12 yrs. old, named Caesar, very black complexion; the other a wench, about 25 yrs old of a yellowish complexion; had a stiff, crooked finger on one hand.They were taken from Phillips Fort on Little River.He had been informed that the boy was in possession of Reuben Dier.The wench had four children and they are in possession of one Grayham.Wm Hill, Attorney.
