Am looking for information on James Walker b.1823 in Limestone Co. AL. Was married to Rebecca unk b.1826 in LA. They had Westly b.1844,William b.1845,Thomas b.1847 and Eliza C.M. b.1849 all in LA according to 1850 census Sabine parish. By 1860 Rebecca had remarried Richard R. Green b.1834 LA. and living in Natchitoches parish with children Westly, William M. Thomas J. Eliza and listed their last name as Green. Also she & Richard had Mary b.1853, Margaret b.1854,Andrew Jackson b.1858. Not sure if Richard is the father of these last children or if they were James since they were all born before 1860. They have Sarah b.1861,Amanda b.1863. On 1870 DeSoto parish Rebecca is living there with Mary 17,Margaret 16,Jackson 12,Sarah 9,Amanda 7 and Elizabeth Green who is 70 Richards Mom I think. Also on the 1870 DeSots Parish Census they have Thomas 22,Westly 26,Matt 23(son of Wm. WalkermAugustine 22 perhaps wife of Matt,and Mary Sessions (perhaps daughter of Augustine) that are all living with Thomas. By 1900 Westly has been married and has 2 children. Effie b.1882 and Andrew Wesley b.1886 Also Matt 54,Angline 46 with Arthur 17 and Bill 12. Also ther is Thomas 52, wife Malinda 41,daughter Julie 24 and son Charles 13. The only information I on any of the girls is on Sarah Green,she married Robert Gill Mitchell b.Jan 4,1859 onSept. 30,1880 in Lincoln Parish LA. Sarah died on Jan.21,1945 in Debach,Lincoln Parish LA. Robert died Apr.25,1939 in Lincoln Parish,LA. Have not been able to find any information on James since the 1850 census or anything on Westly since 1900. Would appreciate any help. Delma
