I am interested in information on JABEZ WALKER and wife ASENATH GILLET because on the 1850 FEderal Census for East Bloomfield, Ontario County, NY is found one HORACE WALKER, born 1825 in NY, and his wife SARAH ELIZABETH EPLER WALKER.
They had been married in April of 1850 in Marion, Ohio, home of the bride, and by November were in East Bloomfield, presumably home of Horace.
Since there were no names on the 1840 census, and since this Horace appears to have been dead by 1860, and since he was living alone, near Jabez and family rather than with them, I think it is possible that Horace Walker might have been a son of Jabez Walker, who has been missed.
I would be interested in corresponding with anyone researching either Jabez Walker or Horace Walker.
