Not sure if this is the correct connection but have you checked into the Walkers from Rockingham County, NC? I know ABraham or Abram was a common family name. There is a family tree on Family Tree maker under the name Mark Bryant Walker with extensive info on the family. I have studied it a lot because my husband may be descended from a brother of the Rockingham Walkers. If you need me to, I can look up the link to the family tree.
