I am working with Dan Stevenson (see later message) on a Walk family tree. "Our" Martin Walk went from Culpeper, VA to Rowan Co. NC. He was Lutheran, his son Martin joined the Moravian congregation in Friedberg, Nc. Martin Walk was first married to Catherine Clore in Culpeper, then on October 19, 1757 he married Catherine Gerhard in Rowan Co., NC. We are probably talking about the same family.
