I saw your post concerning Waling relatives just now and tried to e-mail you but you used an invalid e-mail address and it would not go through so I will just post this reply and hope you read it.

Your great-great grandfather Charles Waling was the brother of my great-grandfather John G. Waling. Charles Waling's son of course was Charles Waling and the younger Charles was your grandfather Lawson Waling's father, all of which you likely already know.

The elder Charles Waling's first wife, your great-great grandmother Mary Elizabeth Pelkey, was the sister of my great-grandmother Antoinette or Nettie Pelkey (Nettie married John G. Waling). So we have a double Waling/Pelkey connection to each other.

I have never known you but other members of my family knew your grandfather and other members of your family. Do you have all the Waling info you need because if not I can supply with some back to about the late 1700s in England, also I have some Pelkey information that I have researched in the past few years.

Here is exactly how my Waling connection goes, if you like you may e-mail me at and ask any questions you like.

My line:

Thomas Waling/Ann Clark
Thomas Waling/Jane Goodale
John G. Waling 1841-1914 married Nettie Pelkey
Mary Elinor Waling (Nellie) 1874-1967 married Frank Snow
Ivan Snow 1899-1998 married Lavina Stanton
Sharon Snow (me)
