Hi Katrina,

My great-great-great-grandfather was Johann Baptist Moesch (= Mösch) (1770-1846) who, in 1801, married Magdalina Kienberger (1779-1849). Their daughter Maria Ursula Moesch (of Frick,Switzerland) married Wendelin Albiez (b. 1808) whose brother was the Johann Albiez (1813-1877) in your posting, whose first wife was Anna Maria Weber (1821-1848).

I have the name of his second wife as "Maria Anna Ruegge" (1824-1898); but she may have been previously married. Was her maiden name Mösch (or vice versa)?

Their daughter was Maria Bertha E. Albiez who married Johann Magnus Hungerbuhler.

Clynt
(in Sydney, Australia)
