Hi all,
I was wondering if there is someone out there who is tracing the family of Thomas JULIAN b.1823 in Merionethshire, North Wales. Married to a Mary in 1852. I have two surnames for Mary - MORRIS and JOHNS.
In 1857 Mary Julian and a child - Thomas Julian age 2(b.1856 - Birmingham) emigrated to Aust aboard the "Clara Wheeler" - I don't have any emigration details for snr Thomas Julian, but he did come to Australia and he and Mary had another child - John William Julian b.1861 at East Collingwood, Melbourne Vic. According to the birth certificate for John William Julian, his father Thomas Julian was a Carpenter. On John's birth cert, Mary's surname is Morris and she was born in Merionethshire, South Wales abt 1822. However on John's death cert (d.1863) Mary's maiden name is Johns.
On the Death Cert of Thomas Julian (b.1823) his parents were Thomas Julian, Publican and Mapley, surname unknown.
Any informantion regarding this family would be most welcome, I am particually interested in finding details about Mary Morris / Johns and details re: Mapley.
