Again, thank you so much, Sonia! I will follow this up and post if I find any results. I have been spelling Le Savage wrong all these years! This does seem to be consistent with the idea that Henry was a married attourney older than David and would fit chronoligically with what we have found about his descendants and his history and David's. Just because you might be interested and someone else may be searching for a connection George and Maria died and were buried near Cherokee, Iowa in a family cemetery plot where all generations of the family have come to rest since, including David and Emma and her mother Delia Rice, but Henry married a Rangebarger girl in Ackley, Iowa where they first settled. In later years he was attempting to defend the Rangebargers in court (they were cattle and horse thieves and other things) and in a fight the Rangebargers killed him, after which the remaining family moved to Cherokee in 1863. We have a newspaper clipping that states a line of horses and buggies over a mile long followed Maria's funeral procession. Thank you for your assistance and for what is to us a wealth of new information. I will keep looking! :)
