Again from IGI, the following 3 records for 2 sons would seem to tie in with what you know. The first is a user-submitted entry, the other two are extracted from parish records.

HENRY JOHNS
Birth:        07 MAR 1829        London, London, England
Father:        GEORGE JOHNS
Mother:        MARIA SAVAGE

HENRY GEORGE JOHNS
Birth:        07 MAR 1829
Christening:        28 FEB 1836        Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England
Father:        GEORGE JOHNS
Mother:        MARIA

DAVID JOHN JOHNS
Birth:        06 JUN 1836
Christening:        24 JUL 1836        Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England
Father:        GEORGE WILLIAM JOHNS
Mother:        MARIA

Hope helps place them on census records, which might perhaps lead to birth-places of George and Maria.

Good luck
Sonia
