I am looking for information about maurice and hanorah donovan.
They came from cork in the 1870's,and they lived in newtown in ebbw vale.
I found them on the 1881 census with their children maurice mary and julia living in crooked row,newtown ,ebbw vale,but on the later censuses i can only
find their children.
I worked out that they must have been in ebbw vale in 1885,because that is when
john donovan was born,but they are not on the 1891 or 1901 censuses.
Their children were:
mary was born in 1871 in cork and is on the 1881 wales census as mary donovan ,1891 wales census as mary collins and the 1901 wales census as mary collins.
Married in 1889 and 1902.residence newtown ebbw vale .
maurice was born in 1867 in chatham,kent, he is on the 1881 wales census,Residence Newtown,ebbw vale.
1891 wales census,and the 1901 wales census.residence pontlottyn.
Married in 1890.
John was born in 1885 in ebbw vale and he is on the 1891 census,and 1901
census.Residence Pontlottyn.
Theres no mention of their daughter julia who was born in 1880 after the 1881 census.
Has anybody got any suggestions of where i can look.
