Thomas Murray b.1787 Scotland > Wales > Battle of Waterloo > NB, Canada

Looking for the parents of Timothy Murray b.1829 in Kinnear Settlement, New Brunswick. He married Julia Ann Perkins and together they had 7 children:
Miles H. Murray
Eliza Murray
Birdetta Murray
William H. Murray
Angus Murray
Charles H. Murray
Thomas E. Murray.

Unconfirmed is that Timothy's father was Thomas Murray b.1787 in Scotland, worked in Wales as a coal miner, then fought in the Battle of Waterloo and lost an arm. Moved to the Grand Lake (Queens County) area of New Brunswick in 1820-1829.

If anyone has information to add, it would be greatly appreciated.
