Ms Noland, I know of three J.J.Waldvogels in Toledo in the 1900-1930 timeframe, all are cousins from my GGG Uncle Jacob Waldvogel (2 Sep 1820 Schaffhausen, Switzerland - 12 Aug 1896 Toledo OH). Based on Helen's age, I am guessing that Jacob J. Waldvogel (15 Jul 1899-?) may be your match. (his line is Jacob (1820-1896) - John J. (1851-1912)- Jacob John (1877-1937) - Jacob J. (1899-?). That family lived at 1767 Superior Street, Toledo in 1900.
The Jacob Waldvogel line appears to have had a John and a Jacob in the first four generations after immigrant Jacob arrived in NYC on 21 Aug 1847. Information on the immigrant Jacob Waldvogel can be found on page 123 of the "Cronik des Deutschen Pionier-Verein von Toledo," Ohio, Toledo Ohio, 1895.
