Hi David,
Thanks so much for your reply!
I have done a fair bit of research since my posting.
I am a direct descendant of John Waldron who was born in 1801 in Plymouth, Devon.
He was convicted at London Gaol on the 24th October 1821 and transported to Australia for life on the 22nd July 1822 on board the 'Prince of Orange'.
His Will speaks of a brother Benjamin Waldron (born 1805, who also came to Australia, Sarah Waldron (Church Lane Spittalfields, London), Ann Brown (Church Lane, Spittalfields, London) and Richard Wicks (Melbourne, Australia).
I have been unable to find a name for the parents of John and therefore my research has come to a halt.Any leads you may have would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to reading the link that you provided.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
