Stuck at my grandma's grandfather - Edward Lewis Waldron 1872?

Hi all, I'm working on my family history and I've been tracing them back via birth and census records. I am currently stuck at Edward Lewis Waldron, born about 1872 in Michigan. According to census records from 1920 and 1930 he lived as an adult townships in Fresno and Madera, CA, and that goes along with what I remember my grandmother telling me before she passed away. I just can't find his parents!

Anyone else related to Edward Lewis Waldron whose son was Richard Carson Waldron b. 21 March 1895 who had 2 daughters, Loretta and Margaret?
