Sorry to disagree, Sandra, but Winnie C. (WRIGHT) WALDREP was dead before 1860. The children she had with Brooks are well known from census and other records. They were: Simeon b. 1829, James S. b. 1834, Martha b. 1835, Nelson V. b. 1837, Mildred b. 1839, Hillary b. 1842 and Narcissa (my ancestor) b. ca 1845. Brooks remarried in 1864 to Elizabeth Jane DAWSON and had three more children: Mary Josephine, Delana and John born between 1865 and 1870.

Your Lucian and Etna may have been grandchildren. James S. had a son that I copied from the 1880 census as Lesion who could possibly have been your Lucian (b. 1873) and a daughter, Rebecca, who was three in the 1880 census.
