My grandmother, Susan Elizabeth (nee Clark)Henderson, b. 11/21/1882, d. 12/16/1972,(m. M.A. (Masalone) Henderson, b. 1/15/1882, d. 3/1957), was the daughter of Rhoda Ann Waldrep, b. 8/13/1866, Randolph Cty, AL, d. 10/15/1952, and J.D. (Dave) Clark, b. 1/15/1863, d. 3/17/1920 at Randolph Cty, AL, both Rhoda and J.D. are at rest at the Rock Springs Christian Cemetery, Randolph Cty, AL. Davidson G. Waldrep (my gg-grandfather) died from pneumonia and his epitaph on the headstone reads: "Our father has gone to a mansion of rest in the glorious land by the deity blest."The 1830 census, Greenville Distrist, SC has Davidson, head of household containing one female (age 21-?? and presumably his wife), a female under five years of age.The 1850 DeKalb County, Stone Mountain District, Georgia, has Davidson and Lucy, children Edmund Perry (age 16), Alex (age 13), Pinckney (age12), David (age 10), Mary F. (age 7) and Berry (age 5). The 1860 cenus lists them in Randolph county, Howland Division, AL, as Davidson and Reva, Edmund P. (age 27) and Berry (age 13).Perhaps about the time the war ended Davidson married Elizabeth C. Hightower Williford who had two children from a previous union, Mary and Billy and children born to their union were Rhoda Ann (my g-grandmother) b. 8/13/1868, d. 10/14/1956; James J. (Jim), b. 6/21/1868, d. 10/14/1956; Geroge W. b. 11/27/1871, d. 7/16/1946; Susan b. 10/22/1869, d. 1/13/1954; Jasper, b. 2/7/1874, d. 1/21/1931; Monroe (Charlie) b. 10/15/1875, d. 5/27/1967; Johnie b. 10/26/1877, d. 2/6/1968.
