More information on my Hartman Waldeck. I believe his dates are 1794-1876. Which means he could not have been a 12 year old drummer boy at the battle of Waterloo in 1815. However he still has the medal. Anyone out there have the Waterloo Medal Roll and can look him up? I'd appreciate it.

He married Elizabeth Maddass. (Never left Germany as far as I know) Elizabeth's brother George came to the US and lived next to Daniel Boone in Missouri.

Hartman's son John lived with George for a short time when he first came to the US.

In my frist listing I mention Catharine Ludwig - her name is Katherine with a K.
