Charles Wald

The family of Charles F. Wald and his father Charles B. Wald, his step brother and their families came to America from Germany in about 1834 according to "family legend". Apparently they landed in New York, but the three men were the only ones who left New York. They have not been found in standard immigration materials. The step-brother's name was Edward Williams. They lived in St. Louis, MO and later in Montgomery Co., MO. Edward Williams died in 1868 and Charles in 1916.

If anyone is researching this line in Missouri, I am looking for the records of Edward Williams, or of Charles B. Wald in Missouri. Charles F. has been researched, but he was 2 when he came to the US and is not on the lists.
