I don't know where you get the Suffolk/Cambridge origin from. Every Walbridge in the world (spelt with one 'l' not two) is descended from a single family that lived in Powerstock in Dorset. The Saxon part is right - all the English Walbridge's are blood group A+, a Saxon group.
