I have a Birdsall and Walbridge marriage in my family tree but not the one you're looking for, but provide it here in case it makes a connection.
Sarah Birdsall married Elijah Walbridge Meyers s/o Adam Henry Meyers and Mary Holloway Walbridge 1784-1852. Mary was a daughter of Elijah, one of the brothers of Asa, the first white settler in the Belleville Ont area.Asa fled the US at the time of the Rev War, going to New Bruswick, Canada and then coming to Ontario around 1792. Other family members followed over the next 5-10 years, leaving the US (mostly upper NY state).
It's interesting that the two families connect possibly more than once and possibly so far apart.
Good luck with your search.
