Elijah Wallbridge was born in 1752 in Preston, CT. He married Catherine Kelley, the daughter of Wing Kelley and Deborah Ferris. Another child of Wing Kelley and Deborah Ferris is said to be Wallbridge Kelley. Some Members of the Wallbridge, Kelley and Wing families relocated to Dutchess Co., NY in the mid 1700's. The Kelley's and Wing's both came from Cape Cod, MA. I am attempting to find whether there was ever any connection between Wing Kelley and Preston, CT. Perhaps he could have passed through Preston while relocating from Cape Cod to Dutchess Co.
