I purchased the Family bible.
I am posting the information from the last page regarding family history for researchers out there......

"Names and Origin of the Wallbridges"
Henry William Walbridge from England, Devonshire
William one of the Monmouth men rebelled vs King
Henry 7th son
Henry married one Anna Amens, lived at Dedham Con't settled at Norwich he had five sons and two daughters- viz William, Henry, Amos, Thomas and Ebenezer, Anna and Margaret.
Ebenezer, Grfather, married Mary Durkey by whom he had Mary, Margaret, Susan, Theodore and Anna and Ebenr and Henry. Married 2nd time had Elizabeth and Gustavus.
William after coming to America changed his name to Meach.
William had 2 sons and 2 daughters Zebulon and John (side note says, in 1784 Zebulon Walbridge was restored by the N York legislature to all his rights, privileges, and immunities as a citizen had been deprived of them owing to his views and action in regard to war with Gr Britain).
Henry 2Do, DO, Eleazer and Henry. Amos viz- Amos William and Henry. Thomas had 3 sons, Thomas, Elijah and Joseph and 3 daughters. Elijah Walbridge of Milton issue of Zebulon. Doctor Walbridge graduate of Dartmouth College. Gdson of John Walbridge, Henry of Bennington son of Henry WAlbridge who lived in Preston Con't and died there."

This is the text exactly as it appears. Would appreciate it if anyone can decipher the notation to the "Henry 2Do and 2DO, as well as the Dr Walbridge of Dartmouth

hope this info helps some with their research.........
