I am a Cardiff Wakeham. My father(Christopher) was born here as was his father(Phillip) in 1922. Unfortunately this is where it gets quite complicated. His father, born in Cardiff was named Arthur although he was known to everyone as 'young Phil'. It is not really known if he was actually a Wakeham. His father/guardian was called Phillip Known as 'Old Phil' or 'Old Uncle Phil' probably in reference to the unknown factor of 'Young Phil'. If this is any help to your search or just interesting e.mail me
