I only try to let family members doing research, when I come across something on ebay that I can identify, in hopes that they will find their way back to their families.
I also do genealogy and know how important these things can be.......

It is a 1881, antique family Bible. I will try to describe as detailed as possible but feel free to email me with specific questions and or comments. It has a leather binding (leather is worn, but good for its age). It has hinges and clasps that do close. One of the hinges holding the pin is broken on one side, but it does close
Marriage certificate of A. Simpson and Amanda Baker at Mt Pleasant on 30th of May 1885. Presence of S E Lady, David Lady, Henry Lady (?) and one name I cannot make out.

Allen S. Dodson and Anna Simpson - July 19, 1896
Chalmer B. Householder and Mary E. Simpson - December 9, 1896
Theodore B. Simpson and Estella M. Mansfield - Joseph Henninger and Bertha A. Simpson
John Simpson and Beatrice Baldwin - March 9, 1914.
Orlando T. Simpson and Helen Kay - June 18, 1914.
Births: A D Simpson December 16, 1852 - Amanda Simpson July 2, 1854 - Luella Catharine October 2, 1875 - Anna Lydia February 27, 1878 - Mary Ellen August 18, 1880 - Etta Blanche March 5, 1983 - Bertha Amanda November 12, 1888 - Orlando Tilbrook September 19, 1891 and John Cameron January 2, 1895.
Deaths: Etta Blanche March 13, 1888 - Amanda Simpson April 26, 1925 - Theodore Baker Simpson December 1918.
I hope this great family Bible finds its proper family place. I did purchase it at an estate auction in Akron, Ohio.
