I just talked to my grandmother, Ruth Louise Browning Pierce. She said that she was told by her mom that William Wait died before Anna Mae was born, so that would make his death date in 1888 or 1889. She also said that after William's death, Loretta Josephine sold the house and all that they had for $200 and a train ticket to the Palouse, Washington area where her family lived.
