I am looking for information on this set of great great grandparents.
John Andrew Pringle born Scotland 1799 - 1858 Married 1st. Mary Crook
2nd Marriage to Margaret Lillian Waite (Lilly) born Scotland 1793-1877
Andrew and lilly had
Elizabeth born 1825 Scotland, Died Ausable Forks NY 1900
Isabella born Scotland she married Danial Pettigrew,B.12/25/1826 listed as adopted in family records. He died 3/14/53 buried in Quaker Union Cemetary, Peru N.Y.
Just a few days before his daughter Amelia J. Pettigrew was born. Clintonville NY.. Amelia appears to have been raised by Grandmother Lillie..
Isabella married widow Joseph Huntington
Amelia J Pettigrew marries Henry A. Rooke,, BlackBrook New York.. They are my great-great grandparents.
Anyone have them in their tree.. I believe they came from Scotland into Canada and down into Clinton Co. NY... don't know specific dates as to when?
