My great grandfather William W born ca 1813 Barnsley, married Eliza Marriot in Leeds 1836 and had 6 known offspring. He was an inkeeper for a period then a range of jobs in the Leeds area. He seemed to have died ca late 1860s. Offspring were Samuel( ultimately of Yorkshire Artist fame), Catherine Mary (m John Holmes), Eliza Emma, John Marriot (m Emily Harrison), William Wordsworth (died age 16) and Martha Elizabeth (my g/grandmother who m Oliver Longley) I have some info on the siblings but would welcome contact with anyone working on this family at large. There is some debate as to who the parents of William Snr were.
