I am John Francis Wagstaff (b. Derby 1961) and I am trying to trace my genealogy back further than 3 generations which is my limit at the moment. There are also gaps within these 3 generations. My father's name was Neville Francis Wagstaff, my grandfather was Francis Wagstaff and my great grandfather was Joseph Wagstaff (landlord of the now demolished Babington Arms in Derby and I believe the Swan & Salmon, Ashbourne Road, Derby too).
I am in possession of a very old Wagstaff Family Bible which has some entries but there are omissions I would like to fill in.
If anyone knows me or thinks they know me or are related to me and can help fill in the gaps or even better help me go back further than Joseph, then I would be very pleased to hear from you. T.I.A.
