I am seeking info on the Wagstaffe family in this area.
I have Thomas Wastaffe married to Myriam ?
Children
Richard b. 1638
Anne b. 1641
Elizabeth b. 1643
Sarah b. 1645
Thomas b. 1647
John b. 1650 Married Beatrix Fox 18 May 1675. She Died in Risely, Beds. 1733

I have found a will of William Wagstaffe, 24 Jan 1658[1659]
of "Sevickend, Wilden" and started to gather info on this line. Hoping it may tie into my family line, many of the family names are the same, such as Jasper, Newman, as well as the proper amounts of William, Thomas and Richard.

Does anyone have Knowledge of a connection between these two families, or is anyone else following these lines?

Partial from the Will:
William Wagstaffe (I) of Sevickend, Wilden to Robert Fitzhugh of Wilden, gentleman, Barbara Gascoigne, William Wagstaffe (II) and John Gascoigne, son of Barbara Gascoigne after the death of William Wagstaffe (I) and William Wagstaffe (II) in trust to pay Sarah, daughter of Barbara Gascoigne and wife of William Wagstaffe (II), an annuity of £5, remainder of the profits to William Wagstaffe (I) and, after his death to the heirs of William Wagstaffe (II) and Sarah, his wife;
- within one year of death of William Wagstaffe (I) £20 each was to be paid to Richard, his second son, Jasper, his third son and John, his fourth son, Katharine his elder daughter and Elizabeth, his younger daughter;
- William Wagstaffe (I) and (II), Robert Fitzhugh and John Gascoigne were now all dead;

Regards, Carole
