Hi Lindsay

Thank you for the information and reference number from the 1841 census. I have now added Sarah to that family group.

I can also tell you that your guess re: Maria and Hannah are likely correct. The information I have shows Adam Jr. marrying Maria Oldham in 1839 in Greasley. They had four children Hannah b.1840 Jane b.1843 Joseph b.1845 and Emma b.1847

As for Adam Sr. and William's parents, I have William Wagstaff b.1753 in Basford, and Sarah Buck m.1779 in Radford. Grandparents: Samuel Wagstaff and Martha Carnell m.1752 in Basford. G.Grandparents: Adam Wagstaff and Rachell Crowshaw m.1712 in Radford.

There is more information about siblings but I won't go into that here.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I received my information from the Wagstaff Society and I think you would be wise to contact Barbara Kent there. She has an incredible repository of information and membership in the society is quite economical. You can contact her at: Alan.Kent@pop3.hiway.co.uk

She would also be interested in receiving the information you have which she then shares with other members.
