I can trace our lineage back to New York State in late 1700's and early 1800's.
The earliest in New York that I can easily verify is John Bernard Wagor in Nunda.
His son was Johnson Arnold Wagor, and his son (my grandfather) was John Franklin Centenial Wagor (born 1876.)
It appears that the name was originally WEGER from Austria.
