I assume that Earl Frank Wagor is the one who lived in Escondido. Bro. Frank?, Sis Mary?

My dad was Richard L. Wagor, and his dad was John Franklin Wagor- his bro was Dolf, who is probably your great grand dad. My sister and I have compliled quite a bit of info. Her name is Jeanne Louise Wagor Luse (e-mail: howard@rf.org). I met Earl many years ago, when he was in Central City, IA at the original Johnson Arnold Farm (Father of my grand dad John Franklin and Dolf). Johnson Arnold's father was John Bernard Wagor. They lived in Nunda NY. originally. Johnson Arnold moved to Iowa to homestead the Wagor farm around 1853.

I know that this is all a bit disjointed, but I believe that my sis Jeanne has most of our line on paper.

Several years ago, I met a Mark Wagor in Milwaukee. His family settled in KS. They were from Illion NY. in late 1800's. His brother has done some geneology, and he and I believe we are related. I think that we can trace back to Austria in 1400's to the WEGER name. My sister says that we do not really have actual proof of the link from Austria to NY, however.

I would love to see the pics in the family album that go back to 1700s. Could they be scanned?

Sincerely,
John Carson Wagor born 1947, Wife: Stephanie Burr, Son: Richard Burr Wagor, Daughter: Suzanne K. Wagor

P.S. Have you ever met anyone who pronounces our name with a long a on the first try?
