Archibald Waggoner was born circa 1813 - died bet 1870-1880. He married Susan Hartley on Nov. 5, 1845 in Allegany Co., MD. The Hartleys were neighbors to the Waggoners in Allegany Co. I have the same known children as you, with a bit more detail which I would be glad to share. Archie's father was Christopher Waggoner, Jr. (b. Nov. 12, 1789 in MD - died Oct 9, 1850) and I have a copy of his estate. I also know where he is buried and have a photo of the tombstone. His wife was Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) (b. Dec 22, 1788-died Sept. 3, 1844). Chris, Jr's father was Christopher Waggoner, Sr. I believe he was the German immigrant, possibly a Hessian Chaplain who returned to the U.S. following the Am. Revolution. He was born bet. 1750-60 and died after 1830, probably in Allegany Co., MD. We're beginning a ychromosome DNA test project to help identify descendants of Christopher. I would be thrilled to discuss this more with you. Thanks.
