Mr. George Wm. Wagoner and Mary Thankful (sic) Lewis both of Franklin Co., Mo.; married on 10 November 1872 by Julius Emmons, JP at Franklin Co., Mo. Mary Thankful Lewis 26 Dec. 1853, d/o William Perry Lewis Sr. and Miranda Short [per death cert and censuses, etc.];

I don't know for sure that this Wagoner is related, but Mary Thankful Lewis's first cousin, Abigail Jane Lewis (b. Apr 1850, MO, Prairie Twp., Franklin Co., MO, d/o Joshua West Lewis and Diana Margaret Lewis [probably not related to each other]) married 20 Jun 1867, Prairie Twp., Franklin Co., MO, to William A. Wagoner [b. Aug 1847 KY].

William Perry Lewis Sr. and Joshua West Lewis were sons of Daniel Lewis b. 1790-1800 NC and Abigail Brown b.c. 1800 TN.

Part of the 1870 Franklin Co., MO census is missing; unfortunately, right in the Lewis's and Wagoners' neighborhood, but William and Abigail (Lewis) Wagoner are found on the 1880 census:

1880 Household:

William WAGONER Self M Male 34 KY Farmer KY        KY

They are still in Franklin Co., MO in 1900:

1900 Franklin Co., MO, Prairie Twp., p. 217
William A. Wagoner, b. Aug 1847, 52, m’d 33 yrs, KY VA KY
Abbie J., 50, 10 chdn; 6 living, MO AL MO
George R., b. May 1879, MO
Denny E., b. Apr 1881, MO
Arthur F., b. Jan 1883, MO
Christos B., b. Jan 1885, MO
Youncey Venerable, b. Jul 1877, employee, MO KY MO

I can't find them on the 1910 or 1920 censuses or their death certificates in Missouri. However, their children were living in Franklin, Jefferson, and St. Louis Counties.

William, age 13, isn't listed with Lucinda's children in 1860, but he may have been her son living somewhere else. Or he may have been a younger brother or cousin or nephew of Charles Wagoner.

I'm not sure this helps, but it may give you more places to look. Bev
