Would like to correspond with anyone who has information regarding the Wagner/Wagoner's of Franklin County, Vermont. Just started working on Joseph and Catherine Wagoner and family. They were both born in Canada, Joseph about 1815-1818, and his wife Catherine about 1823-1825. I think Joseph's mother was Mary, born about 1782 in Canada; she was with Joseph and his family on the 1860 census at Georgia, Franklin County, Vermont.

Would love to know more about these people- were they Loyalists? What was Catherine's maiden name? What was Joseph's mother's maiden name and name of his father? Joseph and Catherine had at least nine children incl. a son Zebulon born about 1845, and a son Napolean born about 1849-1850. I think Napolean is the son Paul who shows up on later census's. It is his line I am working on. Paul married a woman named Celinda who was dead by the 1880 census, leaving at least five children with her widowed husband, and his parents in Georgia, Franklin County, Vermont.

Any info about these folks greatly appreciated.

Nora
