Mrs. D.C. WANEGAR 1927 ~ related to Elbert G. COOK Piermont, NY?

Seeking who Mrs. D.C. Wanegar is/was possibly a relative was? Since Elbert Cook's wife Sophie had predeceased him (between 1910-20), the person listed under the "billed" space on his death record is Mrs. D.C. Wagner, Waggner, Waggoner, Wagenaar.

Arlene checked the 1920 census of Rockland Co., NY and found these Wanegars:
        Wanegar, Daniel, born 1861
        Wanegar, Albert, born 1891
        Wanegar, Ruth, born 1894
        Wanegar, Dunfel (?), born 1896
        Wanegar, Florence, born 1910

Whether or not "Mrs. D.C. Wanegar" was Daniel's wife is questionable as there is no wife listed with the above family.  Looks like Daniel is the father of the children (Albert, Ruth, Dunfel, Florence).

"Cousin" Arlene received info. from the Rockland Co., Genealogical Society which includes some census info. Elbert G. Cook (son of Jonas Platt Cook -- incorrectly listed on death record as "James Platt Cook" and Jonas' wife Catherine (nee Fuller) was buried at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, New York [NY]. Elbert died on December 7, 1924 in Piermont, NY, and was buried at the Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill.  Elbert's funeral was at his residence. He was born in West Moreland, Oneida Co., New York. Later the family was from Bergen Co., NJ [New Jersey].

Many thanks in advance,
