Seaburn Wagnon after 1860

I found Seaburn in the 1860 Etowah Co., AL census. He was in the household of Martha Wagnon. Civil War records list him as serving, but can't find him after that. I feel he probably was killed in the war, but don't know that for a fact. Does anyone know who he was and which Wagnon line he is from?
