I am looking for the father of DANIEL WAGNER, born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany to WILLIAM KARL WAGNER. Believed to have emigrated to NY in 1847. Daniel married
during the Civil War, to JOHANNA STEIREN, from Germany,
born 1844, emigrated to Galveston, TX in 1846. Daniel and
Johanna Wagner buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD. Also looking for Johanna's father, HENRY STEIREN( Steirn, Sturn, Stirn)
was in the shipping business in Louisiana to Texas during
the Civil War. Daniel was a Union soldier in the 21st Iowa
Volunteers and married Johanna in Indianola, Texas, 1865-66.
